As two large red Chinese dragons loom from the ceiling of the Lansdowne Mall, a smaller golden dragon made of bricks rises underneath them.
In celebration of Lunar New Year, the Richmond mall invited Robin Sather, Canada’s only certified Lego master builder, to construct a dragon sculpture out of Lego bricks in front of the mall’s food court. The custom-designed sculpture took Sather over 30 hours to complete across a three day span, and BCIT News visited during his final day of construction.
