Vancouver Warriors’ goalie Aden Walsh had to fight his way to the National Lacrosse League (NLL), both metaphorically and literally.
Facing the defending champion Buffalo Bandits in front of the home Rogers Arena fans, Walsh found himself in an early battle when Bandits forward Tehoka Nanticoke crashed into his legs. As Nanticoke attempted to get up from under the netminder, Walsh threw a few punches in the forward’s direction before a near-line brawl broke out around his net.
